LEASE OVERVIEW
CA WEA Lease OCS-P 0564
On April 27, 2026, leaseholders Bluepoint Wind and Golden State Wind signed agreements with the Department of Interior to relinquish their previously held lease areas, OCS-A 0537 and OCS-P 0564, in exchange for a payments of $765 million and $120 million respectively. As a result, Bluepoint, and Golden State will no longer develop offshore wind projects in these lease areas, and their lease areas have been marked "Withdrawn."
